Mola when he came me to Gadi, he insisted Roti pakao. Now he does not mention Maulatena Fatema A.S. was cooking Roti. Now he has came to know that Arabs at the time of Prophet never ate Indian style Roti and Maulatena Fatema never cooked wheat flour roti of Indian style.
Please listen to this mostly exaggerated and false Bayan. There is no proof that our Prophet ate roti or he advised/ordered Muslim women to make roti. Arabs do not cook or eat roti; they buy from market. Roti is prevalent in Indian subcontinent only. In Arabic even there is no exact word for Roti; how can then Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) say “make Roti”. Arabs eat Nan, bread, Khamir roti, pita bread etc., and they are made in bakery. If Bibi Fatema made Nan or Bread, Bohras women should make that, not Roti.
If Prophet Dawood (David) cooked his own food, why Syedna Mufaddal does not follow Prophet Dawood? What stories Syedna Mufaddal says in his Bayan, is mostly illogical, unscientific, farfetched, and Phekam Phak; Bohras swallow them without analyzing.
Syedna Mufaddal is obsessed with Rolling and backing Roti; his symbol should be rolling pin or Belan. Since coming to Gadi, he has performed many Roti making Tamasha; He advises female students in his school in Surat to learn making Roti and study Home science only.
However, he contradicts himself. Since last several years after he has started food business, roti for Bohra community is cooked in Jamatkhana and distributed by tiffin like Dabbawala of Mumbai. Every Bohra must pay for tiffin whether he/she likes it or not. All food including Roti is rolled and baked by non-Bohra women. After start of tiffin, Bohras women have stopped making Roti. Even 60-70 years ago upper middle class and rich Bohra women rarely cooked Roti; they hired kamwali for making roti. Why did previous Dais, who were very well read scholars, did not insist on importance of Roti making. Do we have a different Roti loving imam now, who is instructing Mufaddal Mola?
Syedna Mufaddal is not well educated or well read. He does not understand that 50 % of Bohra population is women. If they are forced to stay home, make roti, and doing home chores, they will not occupy high positions and make Bohra more influential like Hindu women have done.
In Medina, for doing the household chores, most upper class women during prophet’s time kept slaves. Women of Syedna’s family, i.e. wife, daughters, etc. do not cook Roti or weave Topi, sew clothing, or knit sweaters. In Saifi Mahal they have chefs. When they travel they eat Ziyafat.
If Mufaddal Mola is in love with Roti making, he should open Roti Collage and become its Principal. He asks girls to join Home Since. However most Salam, Golak money, Nazar Muqam, and Raza money comes from professionals Bohra women such as Doctor, Dentists, therapists, and computer Engineers, or business entrepreneurs; not from those who stay home making Roti.
He should not accept Salam and Wajebat from those professional women because they do not obey his Farman of staying home, raising children, sewing clothing, knitting sweaters and topi, tending husband and inlaws, and Roti making.
